Young Voters Respond to DOJ Indictment of Former President Trump

In response to the Department of Justice indicting former President Donald Trump, NextGen PAC President Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez released the following statement:

“Now twice-indicted, Trump is showing how deeply unfit, uncontrollable, and immoral he truly is. From obstruction of justice, to inciting violence, to hush-money payments, he finds himself once again facing the consequences of his criminal behavior.

“It is simply unprecedented to see the Republican party’s 2024 presidential frontrunner face federal criminal charges and it is absolutely representative of the deep corruption and chaos within the party itself. This is just another example of how out of touch Republicans are with everyday people and the real issues facing our generation.

“Americans deserve a future where our politicians represent the best of us – not the worst. Young people are ready to build a government that reflects our progressive values and respects our rights and our livelihoods. We are paying attention and are prepared to turnout, mobilize, and fight for the future we believe in ahead of November.”
